Jupitoor
Juvenile osteochondritis dissicans (OCD) is a challenging and potentially devastating entity which can affect athletes and non-athletes alike. JUPITOOR ( JUvenile Pediatric Intercenter Treatment of Osteochondritis dissecans and Osteoarthritis Research), also known as the OCD Study Group of North America, was founded in early 2009 to bring together experts to provide a forum to better understand and treat this frustrating problem. Much like the planet Jupiter, there is not nearly enough known about this disease. Our goal is to use our website as a way to communicate what is and is not known about OCD. We are working together as a group to design research projects to add better science and evidence to our recommendations. We strive to provide this information to medical professionals and non medical professionals alike. This website, like our knowledge about OCD, will be continuously updated to reflect new findings and controversies.

Long term ramifications may even include arthritis.
